5-piece place setting in the Coronation silverplate pattern by Community Oneida. The setting is in excellent estate condition with moderate signs of use. All the pieces have been lightly buffed and polished to make them table-ready. The flatware setting consists of:
modern hollow place knife 9 3/8"
dinner fork 7 5/8"
salad fork 6 3/8"
place/oval soup spoon 7 1/4"
teaspoon 6 1/8"
This pattern was designed to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England who abdicated. The commemoration never took place, but the popularity of the pattern did take off and is still in demand worldwide.
