3-piece roast carving set. The Farmington silverplate pattern by universal was introduced in 1917. The Farmington pattern was name after a town in Connecticut. Farmington is a small town in the Farmington river valley. The carving set is very well made. The blade is in very good usable shape. The set is ready for your next dining experience. The knife is 14 1/8" long, the roast carving fork is 11 5/8" long and the sharpening steel is 13 1/2" long. Condition: very good estate condition. The set has tiny scratches expected for a set that is decades old. We lightly buffed and polished the set to make it table-ready.
Farmington Connecticut, established in 1640, is a wonderful old New England town that features homes from as far back as the late 1600's. I have traveled through this area thousands of times. If you get the opportunity to visit, it will be worth your time and effort.
This set as well as all items at White Water Antiques are guaranteed to you satisfaction.
