Jubilee by Wm Rogers Mfg IS 1953 Sugar Spoon 5 7/8"

Sugar spoon in the Jubilee silverplate pattern by Wm Rogers Mfg. Co. is in excellent estate condition. This great mid-century vintage silverware pattern was introduced in 1953 and subsequently discontinued. This is a well liked mid-century silverware design that offers interesting graphics. 

The IS on the backstamp stands for International Silver. 

Wm Rogers Manufacturing was founded in Hartford Connecticut in 1865. The company was merged and became part of the International Silver Company in 1898. Much of that area pioneered flatware design during the 20th century.
