South Seas by Community / Oneida 1955

The South Seas silver plate pattern by Community Oneida is a classic in the grouping of mid-century modern. This is a well known mid-century modern silverware pattern. The fresh geometric design at the base of the flatware handle is surrounded by the very contemporary mirrored finish. This flatware pattern was introduced in 1955 and discontinued in 1965. Danish Modern and most any modern style can make use of this silverplate style. I love the seaside feel of the graphics on the handle. Sit back and wait for the compliments.
