TEAPOT INFUSER or tea ball by R. Blackinton in Sterling
This is a teapot tea strainer or infuser in sterling by R. Blackinton. The design is
Prunus blossoms and graces both sides of the teapot. You put your tealeaves
inside and dip it in the hot water. R. Blackinton worked in North Attleboro MA from
1862 to 1967. This piece dates to the late nineteenth and very early twentieth century.
Estate Condition is excellent and there are no monograms. Measures 2 ¼” by 1 ¾” by 1 ¾”.
