Check out these bridges going across the Mississippi river. The spoon bowl shows the top bridge which is the
Lincoln Highway Mississippi bridge built in 1891 and lost in 1975. The bottom bridge is known as the
Railroad Swing Bridge. The handle has Iowa with state symbols. The back handle has the state insignia and a
monogramed date of 1913. This spoon dates to around 1910. The manufacturer was Shepard MFG CO> of Melrose MA who worked from 1893 to 1923.
