Set of four round bowl gumbo soup spoons in the First Love silverplate pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros IS, International Silver Company. The soup spoons are in excellent estate condition and have been lightly polished and buffed to make them table-ready. The 1847 Rogers Brothers was not a manufacture date. It was the best-known division of International Silver in Connecticut and had a huge influence on 20th-century flatware worldwide. First Love is one of our best-selling patterns because of that classic user-friendly style. Production of this pattern ran from 1937 to 1973.
